SETU is now seeking to recruit a Technical Officer to join the university’s cross-campus cybersecurity team within the SETU ICT Services department. The job requires a proactive, enthusiastic individual with a broad-based knowledge of cybersecurity, networking and associated technologies. The Cybersecurity Technical Officer will support the security team in day-to-day operations and projects. The role can be based in either the SETU Waterford or Carlow campus but will involve travel between various campuses as required. The post holder will report to the Head of Cybersecurity and ICT Risk. They will be part of the cybersecurity team within ICT services and will work closely with management and ICT staff, students, academic, professional and administrative support staff.
