Research Project Accountant (x2) - Grade V (Permanent) Vacancy I.D.: 039584 - Research Project Accountant (x2) - Grade V (Permanent) Contract : Permanent Whole-Time Contract Salary: The gross salary applicable to the post of Staff Officer Grade is currently €52,240 - €62,482 as at 01/02/2026. SETU is seeking to hire two Resarch Project Accountants to join our Team in building a University for the Region. We are seeking ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic professionals who want to be part of this exciting opportunity. The SETU Finance Department is currently engaged in a transformation to enable it to meet the demands of a growing University and is building a unified Finance Department across all Campuses. Research & Innovation forms a key pillar of the SETU Strategic Plan and the SETU Finance Department plays a key role in enabling and supporting Research & Innovation activity. The role of Research Project Accountant offers the post holder the opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of activities. The duties of the post-holder will focus primarily on the financial administration, co-ordination, management and reporting of research projects funded by National and European Union agencies. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the finance team, programme managers, University management and a wide variety of external stakeholders. We are seeking individuals who possess excellent technical skills, strong interpersonal skills, organisational abilities, vision and leadership, and who will play a key role in delivering on our strategy.
