JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview

We are a leading quantitative trading firm partnering with institutional clients across global markets. We are seeking an Institutional ETF Trading and Execution Analyst to join our front-office team.

This role combines real-time problem solving, data analysis, client interaction, and workflow optimisation in a highly quantitative, technology-driven environment. You will work at the intersection of markets, systems, and people — ensuring trades are executed accurately and efficiently while continuously improving the tools and processes that support them. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and the ability to communicate clearly across technical and commercial teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Trade Execution & Real-Time Decision Making
  • Agree and execute ETF trades with institutional clients using structured internal pricing frameworks.
  • Coordinate with trading teams to ensure accurate and appropriate outcomes
  • Manage the lifecycle of trades from agreement from pre trade to execution to post trade
  • Operate in a time-sensitive environment where precision, discipline, and attention to detail are critical
  • Accuracy matters — small errors can have meaningful consequences in live markets
  • Analyse trading and operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Develop scripts and tools to automate workflows, improve monitoring, and reduce manual processes
  • Contribute to building scalable processes in collaboration with Devlopment teams
  • Strong analytical rigour and careful handling of data are essential
  • Work directly with institutional clients alongside Sales coverage
  • Explain execution outcomes and respond to technical or operational queries with clarity and structure
  • Coordinate across trading, operations, sales and technology teams. You will regularly operate at the intersection of multiple teams with different priorities
  • The ability to communicate precisely, align stakeholders, and avoid ambiguity is fundamental to success

What we're looking for
  • Strong Quantitative problem-solving ability
  • Practical programming proficiency - beginner to intermediate in Python
  • Comfortable working with structured datasets
  • Ability to build small tools, scripts, or analytical workflows
  • High level of precision and attention to detail
  • Financial markets experience is highly beneficial
  • An additional language would be advantageous
  • Prior ETF knowledge beneficial but not required
