Essential Requirements:
Professional Qualifications: Applicants must have relevant Consultant experience and Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of Radiology at time of interview.
The post is for a general radiologist with a strong emphasis on acute service provision. Key requirements include experience in emergency radiology, particularly trauma imaging and acute stroke work. The role would ideally be able to support the on-call rota, which includes performing limited adult ultrasound and some paediatric ultrasound out of hours. While subspecialty interests are welcome, the emphasis is on broad general skillset to meet service needs.
