Here's how you'll make a difference:
Support and advise headquarters, regional, and local teams on customer-facing transactions, product development, privacy, and AI-related questions.
Draft, negotiate, and maintain contracts and templates while creating processes that empower business teams to close deals efficiently.
Provide strategic guidance on privacy compliance and implement legally sound processes for AI usage within the company.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and offer practical, business-minded solutions.
Act as a trusted legal partner to enable SoSafe’s rapid expansion across Europe and globally.
What makes you a great fit:
5+ years’ experience as a commercial lawyer or in-house legal counsel within SaaS or Technology
Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or at least one of our regional market jurisdictions
Strong focus on commercial and/or regulatory law, ideally with experience across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong working knowledge of commercial contracting, privacy, and technology-related legal matters.
Familiarity with AI-related legal considerations, including advising on AI tools, use cases, policies, or governance.
Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills—able to solve complex tasks in a legally accurate yet pragmatic and timely manner.
Excellent communication skills, assertive negotiation style, and confident presence.
Experience in European business, negotiating agreements governed by different jurisdictions.
Highly organized, independent, committed, and adaptable to change and challenges.
Strong business focus and ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
Nice to have: Experience with public procurement and tender processes in at least one core jurisdiction.
Language: Excellent English skills (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
Location & Work Arrangement
Candidates applying from Ireland or the UK will work remotely.
Candidates based in Germany have the option to work remotely from their country or in a hybrid model from our offices in Germany.
