Deli Assistant at SPAR Arden Road
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deli Assistant at SPAR Arden Road. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department and our Greens & Co. concession.
The Role:
Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including meats, sandwiches, and salads
Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations based on their preferences
Maintain a clean and organized deli counter, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively
Monitor and manage inventory levels, rotating stock to ensure freshness
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our products and customers
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and customer service, as well as strong communication and organisational skills. Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred, but not required.
