St. Joseph's Foundation is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for people with intellectual disabilities. Founded in 1968 the Foundation has grown through continuously responding to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
We are currently
seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM1) to join our nursing
team.
Overview of the Post:
To provide support to
our psychiatry services through planning, scheduling and co-ordination of clinics in consultation with the relevant psychiatrist. To support and ensure the effective running of the clinics. To support the psychiatrists with phlebotomy and assessments as requested and to follow up on agreed actions postclinical appointments.
To provide clinical support and governance to assigned staff nurses.
Permanent
Full-time Position – (37.5 hours per week)
The ideal Candidate will have:
• A qualification in Nursing and current Registration with An
Board Altranais (RNID qualification desirable)
• A minimum of three
years’ experience post qualification
which must include psychiatry experience.
• Managerial,
administrative and clinical capability to fill the role.
• The ability to work
on one’s own initiative and or as part of a team.
• Experience in the
field of intellectual disability/psychiatry.
