About the Role & Opportunity
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Technician to join our Product Development team in Wexford. This role plays an important part in supporting the design and development of engineered pump solutions and related equipment, working closely with experienced Project Manager's.
You will be involved throughout the design lifecycle, contributing to products that are used worldwide in process‑critical environments. This is a development‑focused role within a structured engineering organisation, offering long‑term technical growth and progression opportunities.
Key Duties
Create and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for pumps and associated mechanical equipment
Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies and bills of materials
Support engineering change requests, design updates and product improvements
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality teams
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, procedures and documentation requirements
What We’re Looking For
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design or a related discipline
Experience creating engineering drawings and CAD models within a mechanical or manufacturing environment
Understanding of mechanical assemblies, components and technical documentation
A structured, detail‑orientated approach with good communication skills
Motivation to learn, develop and build a long‑term career within engineering
