Role Overview:

In response to ongoing growth, they are looking to hire a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager. This role involves overseeing projects from start to finish, reporting directly to the Construction Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders including the client’s design team, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met and requirements are satisfied.
• Oversee all stages of Mechanical Services project delivery, including Pre-Construction, Planning, Construction, Testing, and Commissioning.
• Regularly visit the site to monitor quality, safety, and procurement issues, ensuring they align with project objectives.
• Manage the financial aspects of the project continuously.
• Participate in pre-appointment meetings to ensure all parties are aligned on the scope of work.
• Review and coordinate all construction drawings and design plans.
• Ensure all work is executed according to project specifications and change control protocols, while adhering to safety standards.
• Offer guidance to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications for site operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a contracting environment.
• Strong leadership abilities to inspire and direct a team.
• Proficient IT and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
