Distribution Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities
- Create Quote and approved Design Registration numbers for assigned distributors
- Provide adequate customer details to Corp and RSM Managers on quotes and Design Registrations requests requiring Sales approval via HubSpot and Point of Sale (POS) research
- Assist in tracking distribution quotes, leads, and design registration pipeline to help drive opportunities from start to close within the distribution channel
- Track daily/weekly quote win/loss rate
- Participating in Quote/Deal follow-up calls with assigned distributors and Taoglas’ Corp Manager
- Understand each distributor’s key customers, projects, and quarterly/annual revenue
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned distribution partner accounts, with special focus on Distributor Quote Specialists assigned to Taoglas.
- Support Corp Managers, Field Sales, and Customer Service with assigned Distributor related escalations (quotes, pricing, LT, design registration, order verification)
- Participate in Distributor Business Reviews, QBR’s
- Understand assigned distributor’s legal agreement and all applicable clauses such as stock rotations, NPI returns, rescheduling and cancellations, and price protections
- Work to become knowledgeable in all Taoglas product offerings and RF services to support inquiries from distributor field sales and Reps
- Review monthly Point of Sale (POS) reports for assigned distributors
- Review Quarterly Marketshare reports generated by Taoglas and from assigned distributors when applicable
- Handle issues in the best interest of both distributor and company
- Troubleshoot distributor issues over the phone and electronic methods
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the distributor’s experience
- File important documents and communicate relevant information
- Ensure the adequacy of sales-related material
- Support the Global Director of Distribution with complaints from distributors and give after-sales support when requested
- Inform distributors of unforeseen delays or problems
- Monitor sales progress; identify shortcomings and propose improvements
- Assist in HubSpot data cleanup efforts for assigned distributors
Knowledge and Experience
- 1-3+ Experience in sales or distribution/electronic manufacturing industry.
- Preferred - Bachelors in Engineering, Business, or Marketing
- Existing industry contacts
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot and SAP
- Solid strategic planning, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and assimilate new information quickly.
- Track, record meeting/call notes to achieve objective deadlines and sales targets
- Solid technology skills, including proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerBI, Teams, PowerPoint, HubSpot, Tacton, and
