Planet Passionate Sustainability Analyst 

Job summary 

The Planet Passionate Sustainability Analyst supports the delivery of the Planet Passionate programme across Kingspan Data Solutions through environmental data management, performance reporting, forecasting, and analysis. Working closely with the Divisional Planet Passionate Programme Manager, the role ensures sustainability data is accurate, complete, auditable, and reported on time. The postholder will develop insights, monthly reports, dashboards, and forecasts that support decision-making and drive progress towards divisional sustainability targets. The role also supports programme governance, continuous improvement, and the onboarding of new sites and acquisitions into the Planet Passionate framework. 

Key responsibilities 

• Coordinate the monthly environmental data collection and reporting across 20+ sites to ensure that the data is complete, accurate, evidenced and delivered on time. 
• Create reports and dashboards using Excel and Power Bi to provide clear information on data completeness and validity across all sites and business units. 
• Review the accuracy of the reported environmental data and the validity of the evidence documentation provided to ensure the data is audit-ready and aligned with Planet Passionate guidelines. 
• Deliver monthly Planet Passionate performance reports to sites and business units, highlighting progress, gaps and actions needed against targets. 
• Analyse environmental data trends across procurement and site operations to provide insights on risks and opportunities. 
• Forecast year-end Planet Passionate performance for all sites and business units to provide key insights for strategic planning. 
• Track Planet Passionate project progress and support the development and implementation of new projects. 
• Develop new tools and processes to support efficiency and automation of recurring activities, such as monthly data completeness and performance reporting. 
• Maintain and update Kingspan Group’s Planet Passionate trackers, ensuring divisional inputs are complete, current, and aligned with Group reporting requirements. 

Once the reporting tools and processes are established and as the role develops, there are opportunities to expand into higher-level responsibilities such as supporting decarbonisation strategy, Planet Passionate project development and execution, and international travel for Planet Passionate audit support across our manufacturing sites. 

Qualifications 

• Relevant third-level qualification, or equivalent experience, in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline. 
• Keen interest in sustainability and in advancing a career in the field, with knowledge across environmental sustainability topics and data desired. 
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with environmental data and identify trends, gaps, risks and opportunities. 
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage datasets, organise reporting files, and carry out data checks and analysis. 
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, completeness, evidence quality and audit readiness. 
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage recurring monthly reporting activities, follow up on site inputs and deliver work on time. 
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work with site teams and business stakeholders to resolve data queries and explain reporting requirements.
