It also holds an Athena Swan Bronze Award in recognition of its achievement in the area of gender balance.  The Business School is housed in a contemporary, eco-conscious structure on the Trinity campus, adjacent to major international business hubs, especially those in the finance and digital business sectors. Trinity Business School recently launched its new strategy ‘ Transforming Business for Good: Horizon 2030’ and is seeking to recruit academics to deliver the associated mission and key strategic objectives. Specifically, we are seeking to recruit a Finance academic with a research, teaching and leadership profile matching an international assistant professor.  The Assistant Professor will have a broad knowledge of finance and business studies generally to be able contribute to core courses in Finance. We also have a particular interest in profiles that focus on sustainable and climate finance, banking and Finance, data-driven and AI-based financial analytics, and behavioural finance. Trinity Business School intends to hire an academic in the broad area of Finance who has begun a research publication trajectory commensurate with an academic who aspires to have a substantial portfolio of research publications; particularly in terms of quality and relevance for real business. In this regard, the Financial Times (FT) and Chartered Association of Business Schools journal rankings lists are the benchmarks for Trinity Business School. While we are seeking to hire a rigorous researcher, we also require that this research expertise is of relevance and can provide added value to senior executives and entrepreneurs as well as those engaged in public policy. Therefore, evidence of engagement and impact with the business and public policy community (beyond academia) to include an understanding of the key challenges facing the relevant groups as well as an ability to communicate effectively with them are valuable attributes that we need to fulfil our mission. The successful candidate will be capable of delivering cutting-edge education. Trinity Business School is hoping to extend its online offerings and generalize blended programmes. The candidate will therefore not only possess a profound understanding of the latest industry practices and academic theories, but they will have demonstrated an ability to communicate their knowledge and expertise effectively. The successful candidate will be instrumental in contributing to the future direction of our finance programmes, ensuring they remain at the forefront of industry standards and provide our students with an educational experience that encompasses online learning. This role demands a proactive approach to curriculum design, a keen understanding of market and societal trends, and the ability to anticipate and incorporate future advancements in the role of business & management in delivering ‘Business for Good’.
