Applications are invited for the post of Executive Officer within the School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, to support Ireland’s Knowledge Centre for Carbon, Climate, and Community Action (IKC3), an exciting Human Capital Initiative funded project which provides education for the transition to a low carbon economy. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of all IKC3 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and will provide post-award support to IKC3 while providing assistance with set-up of post-award processes for PIs activities.  This post is predominantly office based, within the School of Natural Sciences, and the successful candidate will assist in coordination of office activities. Duties will include, but are not limited to; supporting the Project PI (Associate Prof. Quentin Crowley) and academic staff with student registrations, timetabling, module and blackboard enrolment, examinations, graduations, outreach engagements, ordering, and ongoing high-level support for all students and staff in relation to IKC3 activities.  The Executive Officer will be capable of working on their own initiative, while also contributing into the wider School administrative team. Ireland's Knowledge Centre for Carbon, Climate, and Community Action (IKC3) was granted ca. €4m in funding under this initiative. The IKC3 consortium, led by Munster Technological University, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin involves leading Irish and European HEIs, companies, enterprise clusters, local government, civic and social innovators. IKC3 will develop innovative scalable solutions for a teaching and learning experience that is flexible and personalized. It will promote professional development of students, community stakeholders, and those in the workplace to foster the transition to a carbon neutral society. Post Status: Specific Purpose -  This is a specific purpose post required to provide administrative support to the IKC3 Team during the lifetime of the project. This post is not offered on an indefinite basis and will cease on completion of the project.
