Post ID: 038895 Post Summary **:-** The successful candidate will join a vibrant team responsible for the comprehensive provision of high-quality administrative support for all aspects of the student life cycle.  Working closely with Course Directors, and other teaching staff, the Executive Officer will provide dedicated support for one or more of the School’s postgraduate or undergraduate programmes. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth academic administrative experience in a student-oriented environment using the College SITS, CMIS, Blackboard and other IT systems as well as the opportunity for career development in a busy but friendly work environment. The Executive Officer will be expected to take an active role in the administrative functions in the School and provide assistance, as required, in other areas. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this employment is to provide backfill pending the return of the incumbent postholder from a career break. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the postholder is expected to return. If postholder do not return to this position, the vacancy will be filled through open competition. Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€33,191 - €51,203 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
