Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary A vacancy exists for an experienced professional in the position of a Supervisor in the Logistic Services Team of Estates and Facilities (E&F) Department of Trinity College Dublin. The Logistics Services Supervisor will predominately lead an experienced in-house team in Transport and Housekeeping areas of the Logistic Services Team. They will be required to assist and support the other teams in Logistics when required. The Logistics Services Supervisor currently has a team of between 3 and 6 Operatives depending on the time of year. The Logistics Services Supervisor will provide the necessary cohesive oversight, leadership, and supervision of the Team in providing the service to the Estate. The General Transport and Housekeeping Team (here after referred to as the Transport Team) have dedicated area of responsibility, but teamwork is essential across all the Logistic Services Team to ensure knowledge is shared and each member of the Logistic Services Team can support and provide cover for all team members when necessary. The Logistics Services Supervisor will report to the Logistic Services Team Leader who in turn report to the Logistics Operations Manager who in turn reports to the Campus Services Manager. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Logistics is required with 2 year attained at a supervisory level or a proven track record in leading teams inside or outside a work setting. They will be primarily assigned to the Transport Team but will work across the complete service. They will have dedicated area of responsibility, but teamwork is essential across the team to ensure knowledge is shared and each member of the team and can support and provide cover for team members when necessary. Post status: Permanent Hours of Post: 39 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Fortnightly General Operative Merged €1,336.04-€1,506.15 per fortnight) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
