Post Summary The successful applicant will have an opportunity to carry out studies in ageing and conduct research from the health assessments and other data collected as part of The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA) www.tilda.ie - under the supervision of the Lead Principal Investigator, Regius Professor Rose Anne Kenny, Chair of Medical Gerontology. Candidates would have a background in Medical Gerontology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Public Health or Epidemiology. The Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA)  www.misa.ie - is the first purpose built clinical research institute on the island of Ireland.  The institute has an active clinical research programme and up to 10 or more PhDs or MD fellows at any one time.
