Post Summary- The Security Services is responsible for the management and delivery of security services that support the core business of the University. These services will include general security services, managing security systems and liaison with the emergency services. The Security Officer will report to the Superintendent as their shift Supervisor and their line manager is the Security Operations Manager.
Consideration for short listing for interview will be given to applicants that do not currently hold an up-to-date PSA License and / or Full EU Driving License but they have the required experience in the field. If the applicant is successful at interview, the applicant will be required to successfully obtain the Licenses within 8 months from their start date as a condition of employment. If they are unsuccessful in obtaining the Licenses within the 8-month period, their employment will be terminated.

Hours of Post: 39 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Fortnightly Security 2 Salary Scale € 1,355.20 -€1,514.46 per fortnight at a point in line with current
