Post Summary:
The Financial Services Division (FSD) wishes to appoint a Taxation Specialist on a fixed 3-year contract. The successful person will work as part of the Finance Operations Team and will be expected to operate as a member of a highly motivated team. The successful candidate will initially provide professional tax advice and compliance across all areas of activity as required.
Post status: 3 Year Fixed-Term Contract
This role is newly established to support University compliance in all aspects of tax legislation across a broad range of tax headings and activities, including research services,
and will be responsible for all areas of tax administration, together with related duties directly connected to the delivery of the University’s tax compliance function. This role is not offered on a permanent basis as it will operate within a new service model, of which the long-term requirements have yet to be established. Therefore, the function of this role as outlined will be subject to a review and it may not continue in its current form.

35 hours per week
Salary:
This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€70,942 - €91,774 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
