Thrive: Trinity College Dublin's Strategic Plan 2025 - 2030 Post Summary: The Visitor Ambassador welcomes visitors to Trinity, helping them to familiarize themselves with the campus and to make the most out of the attractions we have to offer. This role supports the Visitor Experience team to provide a warm welcome to visitors to the Book of Kells Experience. It also supports the management of tickets, day-to-day operations and ensures other duties specified below are delivered effectively and efficiently, ensuring we are maximizing revenue opportunities. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this employment is to facilitate the extension of the opening hours in The Book of Kells Experience during the peak Summer time as there is a need for more Visitor Experience Officers to work across the operation to facilitate these extending opening hours, including evening shifts. Flexibility will be required with regards opening and closing times to service the needs of this busy tourist attraction. There are various shift options, both full time and part time. This role includes weekend and evening work. At busier times of the year, extended opening hours will apply and the Visitor Ambassadors will be required to work both early and late shifts. Salary: Library Shop Assistant 3 Merged €1,099.22- €1,396.64 per fortnight at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
