Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary- The Visitor Experience Officer welcomes visitors to Trinity, helping them to familiarize themselves with the campus and to make the most out of the attractions we have to offer. This role supports the team to provide a warm welcome to visitors to the Book of Kells Experience. It also ensures the management of tickets, day-to-day operations and other duties specified below are delivered effectively and efficiently, ensuring we are maximizing revenue opportunities. The person appointed will be based across the Old Library or Red Pavilion where the new digital experience part of the Book of Kells Experience is based. They will work within a wide team of Visitor Experience Officers across both the Red Pavilion and Old Library, and they will work alongside the Library Guards and the Student Ambassadors to ensure a smooth visitor experience is provided. They will report to a Visitor Experience Officer Supervisor and the Operations Manager for the Book of Kells Experience. They also work alongside the wider team in the Commercial Revenue Unit, including the Trinity Trails team and the marketing team. Post status: Permanent Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the LIBRARY SHOP ASSISTANT 2 (€ 36,666 - € 42,675 )per annum at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
