Please download and review the attached Candidate Instruction path. Important Information The call is open from Friday, 13th  February 2026 until 12 noon on Tuesday 31st  March 2026. Only fully completed applications submitted via the UCC HR portal will be reviewed by the College of Medicine and Health Adjunct Appointments Committee. Appointments are for 3 years (and subject to renewal following review by the Adjunct Appointments Committee). The successful appointment of an individual with one of the titles below is an honorary appointment with an honorary title. Adjunct Professor Adjunct Senior Lecturer Adjunct Lecturer Adjunct Clinical Professor Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer Adjunct Clinical Lecturer Please refer to the Regulation for Adjunct Appointments for full details. Who should NOT use this route of application Specialist Registrar / Registrar Non-Consulting Hospital Doctors working in clinical sites affiliated to UCC School of Medicine should not apply for adjunct appointment through this call. A separate call will be made by the School of Medicine later in 2026 for the specific 1-year Adjunct Clinical Lectureship Consultants with School of Medicine Clinical Senior Lecturer (CSL contracts). Medical Consultants are eligible to hold a (CSL) contract with the School of Medicine. There will be a separate call for promotion from CSL to Clinical Professor for School of Medicine CSLs / Medical Consultants.
