Further Vacancy Details Post-Doctoral Researcher - Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation 6 Months, Fixed Term Part-Time Post Position Summary The Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation | University College Cork is currently recruiting a Post-Doctoral Researcher to work on the In-Touch Horizon Europe funded project part-time (0.5FTE) post for an anticipated duration of (6) months. We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join an international study evaluating the In-Touch intervention. In-Touch is a person-centred palliative care programme for people with advanced dementia in nursing homes. This ambitious 5-year project is being led by UCC, and the project involves a pan-European cluster randomised controlled trial in 56 nursing homes across 7 European countries. The successful applicant will work within in the Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation, under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Professor Suzanne Timmons. The successful candidate will contribute to trial design, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings. Responsibilities include coordinating multi-site data collection in Ireland, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and preparing publications and presentations of findings.
