Further Vacancy Details Research Assistant School of Engineering and Architecture 12 Months, Specific Purpose Full-Time Post Position Summary Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in the School of Engineering and Architecture. The Research Assistant will support the delivery of a time-bound research project focused on energy system transformation and emissions reduction pathways in Ireland. The project will contribute analytical insights to inform policy advice relating to sectoral emissions ceilings and national carbon budgets. The analysis will draw on established energy system modelling tools representing the Irish energy landscape and will utilise baseline scenarios consistent with EPA greenhouse gas projections. The successful candidate will work as part of a research team undertaking modelling, data analysis, literature review, and reporting activities across multiple energy-consuming sectors . Project Title: Carbon budget analysis Post Duration: 12 Months, Full -Time Post Salary: €33,791 - €43,872 p.a.
