UCC wishes to appoint an administrator to the role of Research Student Administrator. Reporting to the Doctoral Institute Manager, the postholder will be trained in all aspects of the work of the Institute. The Doctoral Institute is a central academic and administrative body newly established by UCC to support and enhance the quality, experience, and outcomes of doctoral education. The Doctoral Institute will serve as a central visible hub for doctoral education and will integrate both academic leadership and administrative support structures, ensuring consistency, transparency, and high standards across all doctoral and research master programmes. The breadth of the work of the Doctoral Institute spans: policy and academic leadership, recruitment, admission, registration, skills and training development, submissions and examinations.

Appointment may be made on the Admin V Salary Scale: €52,338 - €64,190 (Scale B) / €50,066 - €61,097 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
