(Research Support & Talent & Development Officer) Cancer Research @UCC Part-Time 10 Months, Specific Purpose, Part-Time Post Position Summary Join Our Team – Research Support & Talent Development Officer (RSO) Cancer Research @UCC, a UCC Futures Strategic Research Centre and research support of the CUH/UCC Cancer Centre, is seeking an experienced and proactive professional to lead research administration and talent development initiatives within our dynamic research environment. This pivotal role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure excellence across our programmes and foster a culture of growth and collaboration. The successful candidate will drive research administration processes, oversee HR coordination for centre-based staff, and champion training and engagement programmes that empower our team and advance our mission. We’re looking for someone who: Thrives in a leadership admin role and can manage multiple priorities with precision. Brings expertise in research administration and operational processes, with strong organizational and IT skills. Is passionate about talent development and committed to creating opportunities for learning and growth. Can lead reporting, maintain SOPs, and coordinate initiatives that strengthen governance and efficiency. Excels in stakeholder engagement and event coordination, supporting collaboration and outreach. Project Title: Cancer Research @UCC Post Duration: 10 Months Salary: €53,211 p.a.
