Further Vacancy Details Senior House Officer X 3 (Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry & Oral Surgery/Oral Medicine) Cork University Dental School & Hospital Fixed Term Whole Time Post (duration 12 months) Cork University Dental School and Hospital wish to appoint Senior House Officers (SHO) x3 in each of the following areas for a period of 12 months commencing in July 2026: Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery/Oral Medicine. We ask that all candidates indicate their preference in ranked order with regards to the 3 available areas as part of their application. The SHO will work as part of the team in the School and Hospital and will be involved in research, patient care and education of undergraduate students.  The SHO will be facilitated in undertaking a research project and/or clinical governance project. As this is a training post, we will so far as is possible approve the attendance of the SHO at academic conferences to present their work and/or attend short training courses which are deemed appropriate and relevant for the SHO's educational development. The SHO will also be facilitated to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning with UCC. Appointment may be made on the HSE Senior House Officer Salary Scale: €54,203 - €74,133 Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
