Further Vacancy Details Senior Research Co-ordinator INFANT Research Centre 12 Months Specific Purpose Part-Time Post Position Summary The INFANT Research Centre is seeking an experienced Senior Research Coordinator to lead the management and implementation of the Newborn Brain Test (NBT) project—an ambitious, three-year initiative funded by the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF), administered by Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. Delivered in partnership with UCC spin-out CergenX, the NBT project aims to develop a novel AI-based platform to detect abnormal brain activity in newborns shortly after birth. The Senior Research Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring delivery of projects milestones and deliverables, compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory requirements, and adherence to the INFANT Quality Management System. A central focus will be on clinical data management, including oversight of retrospective and prospective data collection, storage, and governance. This is a dynamic, cross-sector project requiring close collaboration with academic, clinical, and industry stakeholders. The role demands a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong track record in coordinating complex, multi-disciplinary programmes. Applicants should have a minimum of ten years’ experience in project and programme management, experience in the technology sector, and demonstrable experience working with industry. Experience in team leadership and knowledge of regulatory and quality standards is essential; clinical research experience is also essential.
