Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Experimental Physics, UCD School of Physics, Temporary 3 year post Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Experimental Physics within UCD School of Physics. UCD School of Physics invites applications for a Temporary 3-year appointment as ‘Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Experimental Physics’.  A key responsibility of the role will be delivering, supporting and developing the undergraduate teaching programme in experimental physics, focusing especially on the delivery of the experimental laboratories including the advanced laboratories. The appointee may also be expected to coordinate and deliver elements of the School’s BSc and MSc taught programmes, including classroom teaching, project and group-work supervision, as well as inter-programme teaching. The successful candidate will also conduct their own independent programme of research, which should complement the existing expertise and interests of the School, and be aligned to the strategic priorities of University as set out in the UCD policy document “ Breaking Boundaries “. 95 Lecture / Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €64,753 - €102,539 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 10/02/2026.
