Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Scientist within CBNI, UCD School of Chemistry
The Centre for BioNano Interactions (CBNI), University College Dublin is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist with research background in any relevant arena of nanoscale synthesis, physical, and biophysical sciences to join a dynamic team dedicated to obtaining a complete understanding of the interactions between biological nanostructures and living systems. The successful candidate will assist with advanced methods to help understand particle interactions with and transport through the gut particularly. It would be an advantage to be an expert in studies of nanostructures in the gut, with experience of ethical and regulatory processes. The project will evaluate the biological interactions, including uptake, trafficking, barrier crossing and then detailed downstream regulations that are caused by those interactions.
Salary Range: €69,500 - €72,500 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
