Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor (Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics), UCD School of Medicine, Temporary Fixed Term 24 months starting 13th July 2026 - 9th July 2028 Applications are invited for a temporay post of a Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor (Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics)  within UCD School of Medicine. The Special Lecturers/Clinical Tutors play a major role in supporting, organizing and delivering clinical teaching for our students on rotation in our affiliated Teaching hospitals. The Clinical Tutors instruct and supervise students during their clinical attachment, provide lectures and tutorials as part of the formal clinical curriculum and assist with the preparation of clinical examinations. They provide academic support and career mentoring to students and ensure that the clinical rotation supports the learning objective of the relevant module.   In addition, they provide classroom-based teaching in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics to students based in Belfield for their pre-clinical studies and the transition to clinical learning phase, as well as for final medical students preparing for the Prescribing Safety Assessment. Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor_2010 (0081_X) Salary Scale: €69,580 - €81,937 Per Annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 30/03/2026 Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
