UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1, UCD School of Civil Engineering, 12 months Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Civil Engineering. Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in traffic emission modelling at University College Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will join NexSys (Next Generation Energy Systems), a multidisciplinary energy research program funded by Research Ireland. NexSys is an all-island initiative hosted by UCD, in collaboration with eight Irish research institutions and industry partners, aimed at addressing the challenges of energy decarbonization. The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for conducting vehicular emission modelling for both traditional and renewable energy-fuelled vehicles across all vehicle classes, including passenger cars and freight traffic. Fixed Salary: €46,805 Per Annum Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 27 February 2026. Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
