Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist role within the SusAlgaePro project at UCD Algae Group. SusAlgaePro aims to develop a breakthrough microalgal biorefinery platform that transforms industrial waste into lipid fractions for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and protein ingredients for animal feed.
This is a postdoctoral research position that involves the execution of a defined research programme under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. The successful candidate will grow microalgae on digestate and apply the cascading biorefinery fractionation to the resulting fresh biomass to produce lipid and protein ingredients.
This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
Fixed Salary: €47,273 per annum
