Finance Manager - Technology and Platforms
Full Time Permanent Role
Citywest Office (Travel to Limerick required)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Acquisition Integration
- Lead the finance workstream for post acquisition integration of TouchStore Limited
- Establish clear financial structures including; reporting and control frameworks
- Support the onboarding into divisional and group finance rhythms
- Implement monthly management meeting cadence
- Continuous improvement of financial policies & processes aligned to Group standards
- Manage the day-to-day finance for TouchStore (monthly reporting, budgeting, BPC etc)
- Develop and maintain high quality KPIs and management information
- Contribute to post investment reviews, tracking benefits realisation and return on investment for key initiatives
Commercial & Platform Business Partnering
- Support the prioritisation and financial evaluation of the product development roadmap
- Provide meaningful financial insight and analysis to balance innovation ambition and capacity/cost constraints
- Act as a finance partner to technology, product and commercial stakeholders, supporting high quality, insight led decision making.
- Provide financial input into commercial opportunities across SC&R’s technology and platform activities (e.g., merchant services, 3rd party platform access, advertising/JBP income).
- Partner with commercial, product and technology teams to ensure opportunities and development activity are supported by clear financial analysis and aligned with divisional priorities.
- Support financial governance and controls across B2B and B2C platforms, including cost management and recharge processes.
- Assist in monitoring development and innovation pipelines, including integration of B2B offerings and ongoing enablement of B2C initiatives.
- Contribute to long term financial planning and multi year modelling linked to key contracts.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, Tech, Product and Commercial
- Act as a key finance point of contact for SC&R technology and platform initiatives.
- Promote financial awareness and support value focused investment decision making.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in commercial finance or finance business partnering.
- Comfortable working in fast‑moving environment and bringing structure to new or evolving processes.
- Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial governance.
- Highly analytical, translating financial data into clear insights.
- Commercially aware, with experience evaluating investments and business cases
- Experience working with technology, digital or platform teams preferable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to Limerick (typically once per week).
- Self‑starting with good judgement and the ability to work independently
