We'll look for you to provide expertise and support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of appeals and grievances. You'll be charged with analyzing/identifying trends and may need to help resolve written Department of Insurance complaints and multi-issue provider complaints. We'll back you. We'll train you. Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of a 20-24-person team including setting priorities for the team to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality performance goals are met
- Conduct 1:1s with team members, drive team engagement & development, act on results from the EX survey and support the QVC, Quarterly Review and Year-In-Review processes
- Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.
- Support the root cause & remediation of compliance misses, star rating fails, effectuation misses, audit reviews and general quality measures that impact overall CEP results
- Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action
- Communicate with appropriate parties regarding appeals and grievance issues, implications and decisions
- Analyze and identify trends for all appeals and grievances
This is a challenging role with serious impact. You'll need to focus on bringing out the best in team members through coaching, huddles and modeling proper behaviors and practices. You'll be accountable for overall team performance within a demanding, fast-paced environment that involves a great deal of complexity. The successful candidate should demonstrate a positive, motivated mindset that fosters trust, engagement, and team success.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven supervisory/leadership experience
- Proven solid experience analyzing and solving problems in an office, claims or customer service environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Proven ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
- Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven solid claims, appeals or grievance experience
