Staff Nurse - Pre-Assessment Clinic - UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin

Clinical Responsibilities: Liaise with Patient Services staff to ensure that all patients awaiting an elective procedure are screened prior to surgery. Inform Patient Services staff of any DNA’s to clinic. Participate in the pre-assessment of surgical patients and the subsequent planning and implementation and evaluation of their care. Promote best practice in all aspects of care delivered to patients, relatives and their carers.
