Bid Support/Marketing, Communications Intern
Duration - 3 Months Contract
Location: Blanchardstown
Hours: 39 Hours per week
Overview of the role;
This internship role supports three closely linked areas: (1) bid and tender support and (2) marketing and communications). The intern will help produce clear, accurate and professional materials for internal and external audiences, maintain content libraries used in proposals, and coordinate inputs from colleagues to meet deadlines.
Day to day of the role;
Assist the bid team in responding to RFIs, PQQs/Selection Questionnaires and ITTs.
Work collaboratively with a bid team, supporting the Senior Bid Manager and other team members to identify winning themes and contribute to the overall bid production.
Assist with the visual presentation of proposals, ensuring they are clear, appealing, easy to understand and evaluate.
Assist with the drafting and tailoring of standard responses for relevant sections (company overview, quality, environment, health & safety, sustainability/ESG, social value, governance).
Provide ad hoc support to the bid support team, as required.
Assist with the tracking of bid actions and deadlines; support meeting notes, action logs and follow-ups.
Assist with producing and updating marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, capability statements, case studies, customer testimonials).
Assist with supporting copywriting for digital and internal channels (website updates, news items, newsletters, intranet posts, social media copy), following brand tone and approval processes.
Assist with the proofreading, editing and formatting of documents for clarity, consistency, grammar, and brand compliance.
Support campaign/event administration (meeting scheduling, invitations, attendee lists, post-event follow-up).
Requirements for the role;
Essential;
Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sustainability/CSR/ESG, English or a related field.
Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc).
Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
Professional communication style and willingness to learn.
Desirable;
Interest in sustainability/corporate responsibility and social value.
Any prior experience in tendering, marketing, communications, or administrative support or a willingness to learn.
