We are looking for experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for implementation of new products and technologies for our plant in Burnfoot. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to production plants during the introduction of new products
  • Identifies and defines areas for improvement in manufacturing processes
  • Provides information to the R&D department regarding materials, components, and assembly procedures based on current and planned manufacturing technologies
  • Prepares, designs, and implements new investments in manufacturing technologies
  • Manages priorities in change management processes and oversees their implementation
  • Supports and manages prototype and beta series builds and prepares related reports
  • Trains local engineering teams on new products and accessories
  • Evaluates assigned cost-saving programs and identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Manages the preparation and creation of work and test instructions
  • Creates production process flow diagrams
  • Manages project teams to ensure on-time implementation of new products
  • Prepares analyses for make-or-buy decisions

Requirements:

  • Technical university (preferred field: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Systems)
  • 2 years of experience in similar job position
  • MS Office, MS Project, ERP Oracle
  • Experience with CAD/CAM systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Ability to learn and improve company processes
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Goal-oriented
