We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with a background in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project procurement, especially in negotiating contracts related to steel constructions and/or steel raw materials. The selected individual will play a key role in supporting InfaSols EMEA growth, ensuring that all procurement activities are handled efficiently and in line with project timelines and budget constraints.

This is an onsite position and can be based in Letterkenny or Burnfoot, County Donegal.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Negotiate contracts for critical commodities and services. 
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure the best value for the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field or alternatively a proven record of experience in the area of Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. 
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management. 
  • Strong Costing knowledge / principles
  • Exposure to Project Cost management
  • Exposure to / Knowledge of International standards
  • Global Supply Base knowledge
  • Familiarity with steel construction/steel raw materials procurement
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
