\nRole Title: Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Role Location: Dublin, Balally & Carrickmines 

Vhi have a growing network of Vhi 360 Health Centres in Ireland. A 2 year contract part time position for a MSK Physiotherapy has arisen within Vhi’s physiotherapy team . The role will be focused primarily on delivering one-to-one assessment, treatment and rehabilitation consultations. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing high quality patient-centred care.

What will you do
  • Manage own case load of patients and link with other members of the admin and medical teams across Vhi 360 Health Centres
  • Complete comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for all clients aimed at achieving short duration goal focused care where appropriate
  • Utilise a range of approaches including client education/advice, manual techniques, therapeutic exercise – group and individual – and adjunctive therapies in line with best evidence/practice
  • Deliver and monitor physiotherapy treatment in line with CORU Physiotherapy Code of Professional Conduct and ISCP Guidelines
  • Contribute to the in house continued professional development programme
  • Link with Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy as required which may include demonstrating continued professional development, contributing to development of the wider teams’ knowledge/skills/competencies, completion of clinical audits and supervision of junior staff or students
  • Utilise the benefits of information technology to improve productivity, efficiencies and decision making
  • Communicate and work in co-operation with other team members to provide an integrated quality service, taking the lead role as required
What you will need to be successful

Education & Experience
  • Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU and the ISCP
  • Have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. 
  • Post graduate qualification/ master’s degree is desirable but not essential 

Skills and Abilities
  • Experience of developing, applying and reviewing an evidence-based approach to decision making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional planning and time management with capacity to effectively prioritise tasks and can manage multiple complex tasks and projects.
  • Proficient IT skills and ability to navigate software solutions daily.
  • Demonstrated alignment to the Vhi values.
