WGH202644 Clinical Nurse Manager 2,Clinical Facilitator Paediatrics & Neonatal

The post of CNM2 Clinical Facilitator Paediatric & Neonatal has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are quality assurance, resource management, staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership. The purpose of this post is to ensure that the nursing staff have the required and appropriate clinical skills and competencies to fulfil their roles and responsibilities in the provision of patient care. The post holder will have close working relationships with the multidisciplinary team across the paediatric / neonatal services. The Clinical Facilitator Paediatrics & Neonatal works as part of the Nurse Practice Development Team.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing - Nurse Practice Development.

Professionally accountable to the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing.
