ALS Minerals is internationally recognised as the global leader in providing geochemical sample preparation, analytical procedures and data management solutions, with its European hub lab based in Loughrea, Co. Galway.

We are currently seeking applications for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse Department.

Objectives:

• Notify the Safety Management of any unsafe equipment or work practice and make safe if appropriate
• Perform activities in a collaborative manner & in accordance with ALS published procedural requirement
• Complete all required records as per ISO17025
• Implement safety improvements as directed by Management
• Work as an integral part of the warehouse team
• Assist with deliveries and shipments as required
• Keep delivery/shipment logs
• Assist with stock takes
• Other duties as directed by Warehouse Supervisor/Manager

Requirements:

• Completion of Leaving Cert or equivalent would be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 year operational experience in a similar work environment desirable
• Good computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be organized and have an ability to multitask
• Flexibility with working hours/overtime
• A forklift license and driving experience is preferable
• HazChem Transport Training is an advantage.

Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift (8:30 - 17:00)
