Analog Devices is seeking a proactive, detail-driven Production Engineer to play a central role in our production operations and supply chain execution. This is a hands-on, end-to-end position at the heart of our Production & Manufacturing function, bridging product design, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to ensure our technology is built efficiently, consistently, and at scale.

The successful candidate will be responsible for turning engineering designs into production-ready products. You will own and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation, support procurement and inventory control, and coordinate with international suppliers to ensure materials, kits, and assemblies are delivered on time and to specification.

Working closely with electrical, firmware, and software teams, you will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The role also involves supporting the implementation of a new ERP system and ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards, helping to build robust, scalable manufacturing operations as the company grows. 

This role is ideal for a Production Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, growing technology company and wants to have a direct impact on how products are built, scaled, and delivered to customers across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and maintain the production schedule in line with company targets.
  • Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting documents including drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Liaise with key suppliers in China, Ireland, and Romania to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels aligned with production delivery schedules.
  • Managing the kitting process for customer order fulfilment.
  • Managing inbound and outbound deliveries, inventory control and stock reconciliations.
  • Support the establishment and ongoing maintenance of our ERP system.
  • Ensure compliance and support ongoing certification of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Collaborate with electrical, firmware, and software engineering teams to deliver fully assembled and production-ready units.
  • Maintain and continuously improve assembly documentation and manufacturing processes.
  • Contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost control.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supplier pricing and propose cost optimisation strategies.
  • Participate in regular international travel to visit suppliers and manufacturing partners (up to 10%).

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of product and manufacturing documentation, BOM management, inventory and configuration control.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and their application in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite especially excel.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Experience of manual handling.

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with end-to-end electronics product manufacturing process.
  • Experience with ODOO ERP, SAP, and related systems.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., KiCad, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for maintaining engineering drawings and product configurations.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, international manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of ERP system implementation.
  • Knowledge or experience with code or document repository management (e.g. git)
