Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position
- Proven experience in consulting or a fast-paced, dynamic HR environment, particularly in workforce transformation projects such as workforce strategy, design, strategic workforce planning, job and career architecture, leadership, learning, and talent strategies.
- Demonstrated success in business development, relationship management, and strategic planning to drive growth and meet organisational objectives.
- Experience leading strategic projects within consulting firms or as an internal consultant/HR professional in large organisations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Tableau, Macros, and/or Access for data analysis.
Success in the Role: Performance Outcomes in your first 6-12 months
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, solving complex workforce challenges using your expertise, industry knowledge, and technology.
- Lead and deliver multiple workforce transformation projects, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and high-quality client outcomes.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities, building stakeholder relationships, and contributing to proposal development and sales pipeline expansion.
- Develop and coach team members, fostering their strengths and enhancing ways of working to build a high-performing team.
What type of work will I be doing?
- Advising clients on workforce transformation strategies and talent management initiatives.
- Leading project delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Engaging in business development activities, including proposal writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Coaching and developing team members, and conducting research to build subject matter expertise.
