Assistant Store Manager- Hickey's Maynooth

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Store Manager to join our the Hickey's Pharmacy team in Maynooth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysing daily, weekly, monthly sales figures to ensure store profitability.

• Ensuring that high standards are maintained for our customers and teams

• Management of stock and cash in line with company procedures

• Supervising and managing the day-to-day operations of the store

• Understanding and meeting the commercial needs of the business

• Maintaining a high level of customer service

• Developing strong relationships with our customers

• Efficient management of store operations, including cost management & rostering efficiency

• Effective performance management of colleagues including appraisals, disciplining, coaching, motivation & mentoring

• Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation

• Building strong working relationships within the instore team and across the business

• Fostering a learning environment, consistently developing employee knowledge and skills through formal and informal training and mentoring

What we would like from you

• 2 years Manager/ People Manager experience – within a Pharmacy setting would be preferable but not essential

• The ability to lead and motivate a team

• Previous Dispensary experience preferred

• Excellent communication and 'people' skills

• The ability to work in a busy environment and handle challenging situations

• Positivity, drive and enthusiasm with the ability that takes responsibility and makes decisions

• Strong commercial acumen

• Confidence, drive and enthusiasm.

• Decision-making ability and sense of responsibility.

• The ability to understand and analyse sales figures.
