About Yuno Energy Heat
Yuno Energy Heat, part of the Yuno Group, is Ireland’s only company fully dedicated to developing and operating district heating networks. We connect homes and buildings to low-carbon, renewable heat instead of individual gas boilers with 15,000 consumers over 95 communal district heating developments today. District heating already serves around 70 million customers across the EU; in Ireland it’s just getting started, with Tallaght as the country’s first utility scale network. We have live utility scale DH projects under development, with a growing pipeline as Ireland’s district heating market develops.
The role
We’re hiring an Project Coordinator to support delivery of our district heating projects, working closely with the Project Manager across feasibility, funding, procurement and construction. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their project management career who wants to build toward running schemes independently as Ireland’s district heating market grows.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager across the project lifecycle: feasibility studies, funding applications, procurement documentation, planning submissions and construction monitoring.
- Coordinate day-to-day project administration — schedules, action trackers, meeting notes and steering-group papers.
- Assist with procurement processes: drafting tender documents, logging responses and supporting bid evaluation.
- Track budgets, milestones and risk registers, and flag issues early to the Project Manager.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal teams on routine queries, escalating to the Project Manager where needed.
- Build working knowledge of district heating technology and Ireland’s regulatory environment — SEAI, the CRU and the Heat Networks Bill — to progressively take on more project ownership.
What you’ll bring
- 1–3 years’ experience in project management, engineering, construction or energy/utilities. Graduates with a relevant placement or internship will also be considered.
- A degree in engineering, energy, construction management or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines at once.
- An interest in renewable energy and decarbonisation. District heating knowledge isn’t required at entry — willingness to learn is.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
