About the Role
We’re hiringSenior Platform Engineersto design, build, and scale cloud-based infrastructure that underpins a large-scale enterprise contact centre platform. This is a stronglyengineering-focused role, suited to candidates who enjoy building platforms, automating infrastructure, and owning technical outcomes end-to-end.
You’ll work as part of an agile engineering team responsible for infrastructure at significant scale (2,400+ servers), with a strong emphasis onInfrastructure as Code, automation, and reliability. While the platform supports enterprise contact centre solutions, the role is firmly centred on platform engineering rather than operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain resilientLinux-based platformssupporting enterprise contact centre services
Engineer infrastructure usingInfrastructure as Code, includingauthoring and maintaining Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks
Scale and operate platforms across large environments with a focus on reliability, performance, and automation
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and platform observability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in high-availability environments
Collaborate withinagile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement
Write and maintain platform documentation, operational runbooks, and engineering standards
Key Must-Haves
We are specifically looking for candidates who have:
Strong platform engineering experience(as opposed to purely support-based roles)
Hands-on experience usingTerraform and Ansibleto configure servers and environments
Proven experiencewriting and owning automation artefacts(e.g. Ansible playbooks, Terraform modules), not simply running configurations created by others
Experience working withinagile engineering teams
A background inengineering-led rolesinvolving system design, automation, and platform ownership
Nice-to-Haves
The following experience would be beneficial but is not essential:
Experience withcontact centre platforms(e.g. Genesys, Amazon Connect, Avaya)
Exposure toon-call or production troubleshooting, particularly in high-availability systems
Experience working withlarge-scale deployments— while most candidates won’t have worked at our scale, larger environments are a plus
Somesoftware development experience, such as writing code, reviewing pull requests, or contributing to shared codebases
Ideal Experience
5+ years inplatform, cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure engineeringroles
Strong Linux fundamentals and experience withDocker and Kubernetes
Experience withAWS cloud servicesand monitoring/observability frameworks
Scripting or development experience (Python, Bash, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows
