Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:
Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong academic background.
Proven experience in finance transformation projects, including operating model design, finance process optimisation (e.g., R2R, P2P, O2C), and shared service centre delivery.
Prior consulting experience or significant industry roles in large-scale finance transformation initiatives.
Tech-savvy with a curiosity for how technology such as SAP S4HANA, Oracle Fusion, and SAP Analytics Cloud can enhance finance functions.
What type of work will I be doing?
Defining target operating models for finance, encompassing process, technology, people, and organisational design.
Conducting finance diagnostics to assess current function health and identify improvement opportunities.
Designing and implementing future finance organisations, including shared services and Centres of Excellence.
Performing detailed financial analysis to support business cases and benefits realisation.
Leading shared service centre feasibility assessments, design, build, and implementation.
Collaborating with Global Process Owners, SMEs, and technology teams to standardise and simplify finance processes during ERP implementations.
Consulting on technology impacts and benefits related to finance transformation.
Managing projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.
