At Deloitte, our Technology & Digital Risk team partners with clients across industries to manage technology risk, enhance resilience, and navigate evolving regulations. This Senior Manager role offers the chance to lead impactful client engagements in both assurance and advisory services, shape the future of our practice, and develop high-performing teams.  What type of work will I be doing?

  • Management of a portfolio of client engagements across technology risk advisory and assurance services, overseeing delivery from planning through to fieldwork, reporting and implementation support.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders by providing practical guidance on areas such as IT risk management, operational resilience, third-party risk, cyber governance, emerging technology risk and regulatory readiness.
  • Supporting the leadership team in developing current offerings and identifying new market opportunities, including the enhancement of technology risk management and resilience-related services.
  • Supporting organisations in the design and implementation of IT controls
  • Presentation of engagement outcomes, strategic recommendations and risk insights to client Senior Management, Audit Committees and Boards as applicable.
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of high-quality client work, while coaching and developing team members through mentoring and continuous knowledge sharing.
  • Working collaboratively with offshore and wider firm teams to ensure the most effective use of resources across client assignments.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development activities including proposals, tenders and identifying opportunities to expand client services.

What Skills and Qualifications are required?

  • Knowledge of IT General Controls.  Experience of IT audit is desirable but not mandatory
  • Relevant degree
  • CISA or other relevant professional qualification
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to provide pragmatic technology risk advice to clients
  • Experience managing client relationships and leading teams effectively
  • Experience presenting to Senior Management and Board-level stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of industry frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, NIS2 and operational resilience frameworks
  • (Desirable) Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • (Desirable) Experience supporting business development and practice growth initiatives
