Dublin Bus is seeking sales orientated, enthusiastic, outgoing people to work outdoors as part of the promotional and sales team for the iconic Sightseeing Tours As leaders in the tourism market - DoDublin Sightseeing Tours has achieved Trip Advisor certificates of excellence from 2011 – 2024 and continues to grow in this area. Working in a highly competitive environment we require people who are confident, resilient, flexible, and self-motivated - someone who can actively engage with people and can work as part of the Sales and Promotional team. The positions will be based in the Dublin area, working in the City Centre, and Dublin environs. Shifts can vary between 4 to 6 hours in length, between the hours of 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Sunday. The ideal candidate will • Have previous target driven sales experience and customer service in a competitive environment desirable • Experienced with cash handling • Good knowledge of DoDublin services and products • Knowledge of Dublin City and public transport • Have a flexible approach to work • Monday to Sunday operating hours between of 08:00 – 16:30 • Fluent in understanding, speaking and writing in the English language • Willing to work in an outdoor environment Conversational knowledge in one or more languages is desirable. Successful candidates will be offered a minimum 10 hour a week contract with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours based on operational requirement. Successful candidates will be offered an initial three-month contract. Upon satisfactory performance and reviews contracts can be extended. All bus transportation to and from work will also be provided. The rate of pay for successful candidates will be €14.31 per hour.
