Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Afterschool Educator to join our fantastic team in Thornwood, Booterstown.

This is a Part-Time role, 1:00-6:00 with flexibility to work full-time in midterm breaks, easter week and summer camp. Monday to Friday only.

Role Responsibilities

The Role:

To participate in themed days within the centre when needed
To ensure the provision of a quality service to children and parents
To co-operate with TUSLA Early Years Inspectors
To work as part of a team and liaise with other team members & team leaders
To come up with new ideas and activities to encourage learning with the children
To liaise with parents/guardians of the children and keep them informed of their children’s day

Required Qualifications

We are eager to find a candidate with a genuine passion towards children. The perfect candidate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player
Additional experience and qualifications are highly desirable. Garda Vetting (and international police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) will also be required.
